SPACE-BLOG – #5 – Onward in 2026
Today I’m flying low and I’m
not saying a word.
I’m letting all the voodoos of ambition sleep.
The world goes on as it must,
the bees in the garden rumbling a little,
the fish leaping, the gnats getting eaten.
And so forth.
But I’m taking the day off.
Quiet as a feather.
I hardly move though really I’m traveling
a terrific distance.
Stillness. One of the doors
into the temple.

There is so much challenging our collective peace these days and being in nature and community provides grounding. It is satisfying to champion women writers and build network through providing space and connecting playwrights and theater artists to each other. Below is an update of what’s going on with hosts and writers who’ve become part of SPACE. The images are of a view the writer has experienced and captured. We hope you’re inspired to find peace, comfort and creativity when you step outside and, if you’re fortunate, into nature.
SPACE continues into 2026 and we look forward to connecting new resident playwrights who need a SPACE in which to work/live to help grow their creative process. For information write us at: Admin@spacetowrite.org.

Lee enjoyed being on stage again in the fall, performing in a professional production of an unpublished new comedy, A Red Plaid Shirt , by Michael G. Wilmot.
