Cecilie Keenan (co-founder/treasurer) is a freelance director and producer in Chicago, where she has been working for over 30 years. Cecilie held positions as Artistic Director of Bailiwck Rep, Producing Director of Apple Tree & Teatro Vista and has directed and taught from New York to Oaxaca Mx. Currently, she is developing new work with several writers and serves as Board Chair for Chicago Theater Bike Ride Fund. Keenan serves as Admin Consultant for Urban Theater Chicago.

Teresa Lee (co-founder/secretary) is a freelance theater director/actor/movement coach who recently retired after 34 years as Professor of Theater Performance at Appalachian State University. Teresa is a sponsoring teacher of the Alexander Technique, specializing in A.T. for theater artists. She enjoys cultivating and hiking the land of her beautiful 30 acre farm in Trade, TN.

Tanya White (board vp) is a produced playwright and published poet with over thirty years as a performer and teacher. Their most recent play Lemon Yellow Kitchen is a ghost story following the complicated after-life relationship between a black woman and the white child she raised. The play premiered in November 2023 at Santa Monica Repertory Theater’s (SMRT) 5th annual Playreading Festival. Tanya is the Artistic Director of SMRT, an ensemble driven, project based company. White also teaches acting, scene study and playwriting as adjunct faculty at AMDA Los Angeles. They regularly contributes to storytelling shows in and around Los Angeles. santamonicarep.org
